The Swiss Biotech Association (SBA) is the national industry association for biotechnology, including pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, agriculture, food, cosmetics, environmental biotechnology, and specialty chemicals. Members are companies active in modern biotechnology, such as R&D, Production, Marketing and Sales, Finance, Services and Consulting. SBA provides a networking platform for Life Science clusters, academic and federal institutions the like. Founded in March 1998, the Association grows steadily. Since 2013, the academic network “biotechnet Switzerland” and the industry network “Swiss Biotech Association” together manage the “National Thematic Network (NTN )Swiss Biotech” sponsored by the Swiss Commission for Technology & Innovation (CTI). NTN Swiss Biotech™ is a well-functioning network in Switzerland bringing together research institutions and industrial partners in life sciences. The network and its members are committed to collaborating with the CTI and its unique support services.
The International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS, ISSN1422-0067, Impact Factor: 3.226) provides an advanced forum for molecular studies in biology and chemistry, with a strong emphasis on molecular biology and molecular medicine. Our aim is to provide rigorous peer review and enable rapid publication of cutting-edge research to educate and inspire the scientific community worldwide. IJMS is indexed by the Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science), MEDLINE (PubMed) and other databases.
Proteomes is an international, open access journal on all aspects of proteomics, published quarterly online, led by Prof. Jacek R. Wisniewski, Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry (Germany), covering the multi-disciplinary topics of structural and functional biology, protein chemistry, cell biology, methodology used for protein analysis, including mass spectrometry, protein arrays, bioinformatics, HTS assays, etc. Proteomes has made it into ESCI in Web of Science. Papers published in Proteomes will be included in WOS and PubMed, which will provide greater discoverability and lead to measurable citations and more transparency in the selection process.
venska Kemisamfundet, which is the collective force of the Swedish chemistry catalyst, captures all the passion for the subject and directs it outwards. We aim for visibility and dare to take place in the public arena. We meet the ignorance with patience and positive motives. We meet the silence with the presence and enthusiasm of the subject. We are looking for energy in the public debate, surfing the media waves and offer shades and deepening where interest has already been raised. We are manned and prepared to get out of chemistry every time an opportunity is given. We are responsive, curious and wide open for cooperation.
